Client Infidelity Can Kill Your Business

Manager: “How did you get on at the meeting Mo?”

Recruiter: “I built a great relationship.”

What?!!!!???

With skill and care, today’s new client will still be spending money with you in ten years’ time. But as with any relationship, you’ve gotta say, “I love you”!!! (err, I mean close).

Often.

Or you’ll get client infidelity. Do these things to protect yourself against infidelity:

Partner

      1. Show your loved one that you care

      1. Not about you, all about them

      1. Tell them you love them (close them)

      1. Listen, really listen

      1. Message them “I love you” after a night out

      1. Total honesty and trust

      1. Frequently tell them you love them (close again)

      1. Surprise them with nice things

      1. Help them. Show how much you care

Not doing these things can lead to infidelity in your personal life.

    Client

        1. Be interested in them (show that you care)

        1. Explore their challenges (listen, really listen)

        1. Explain how you can solve their challenges (not about you, all about them)

        1. Close them (err, close them)

        1. Email them after each meeting (Show how much you care and re-close)

        1. Make 100% sure that candidates you submit are top notch (total honesty and trust)

        1. Surprise them with nice things (socialise, client events)

        1. Frequently check your service (err, close again)

        1. Give good advice (Help them)

Not doing these things can lead to client infidelity.

So please don’t tell me you’ve built a ‘good relationship’ after one meeting. Close your new client. Then really, really look after them.

And build relationships that last 10 years +

Would you like to save 20 hours each time you hire?

And reduce your recruiters’ time time-to-bill…?
