The secret of time management in recruitment is not goal-setting, planning, prioritising and keeping a to do list. 213 million search results on Google will tell you those things. So they’re hardly secrets. ChatGPT fares no better. Try it for yourself. ChatGPT gives you things like; “batch similar tasks, limit distractions, streamline communication,” blah, blah, blah.

Not the real secret of time management in recruitment. The secret requires some effort, I’m afraid.

But it will change your life.

The secret of time management is 𝗘𝗙𝗙𝗜𝗖𝗜𝗘𝗡𝗖𝗬.

Let me give you one example (there are over 200): When a prospect client tells me, “I’m too busy to meet with you,” I close for a meeting at least 7 times out of 10 during that first conversation. I don’t have to “call back in 2 months” (THINK: Is this what you have to do?).

I’m in their diary and they are in mine at the end of that phone call. At least 7 times out of 10. If your closing ratio for that particular objection is lower than mine, I’m more efficient than you.
